1. Application background
Low-light night vision technology has been dedicated to the acquisition, conversion, enhancement, record and display of target image information during nighttime and other low illumination. It adopts the principle of photoelectric effect and photoelectron imaging to alleviate or overcome the limitation of human eyes under low illumination and finite spectral response and to expand the visual ability of the human eye under low illumination conditions. In military applications, low-light night vision technology has been used for night detection, aiming, vehicle driving, photoelectric fire control and other battlefield operations. In the civil field, this technology can also be applied to darkroom operations, covert operations, and security monitoring etc.

2. Application introduction
Indigo's high-sensitivity low-light series camera is a low-light direct-view system with ultra-high sensitivity. It is a day and night camera that can utilize the night light of starlight, moonlight and atmospheric glow reflected by the target to obtain human eye brightness through image enhancement, which has excellent imaging performance in low light conditions.

3. Functions and advantages
1) High-resolution imaging, and the resolution is 2048 × 2048. It can obtain a sufficiently precise night vision image.
2) Ultra-low readout noise, and be able to maintain excellent imaging effects in darkness.
3) It can transmit and record information in real-time, and can implement image processing to improve visibility.
4) Passive detection. There is no need foran artificial light source to detect the low-light images of the scene, which is conducive to the concealment of detection.
